Residency (Post graduate)

Aism is commited to the successful placement of all of our students into post graduate training programs in the united states, united kingdom, guyana, carribean, and other international locations. Starting at orientation we begin to prepare students for clinical practice, education and research.
The process includes:

1. Preparation for the united states licencing examination steps i and ii. Professional and linguistic assessment board (plab) for students wanting to seek postgraduate training in the u.k.

2. Practiceing a successful interviewing skills, knowings how, when and where to apply for a post graduate training position. Aism feels our students success is our success and we want to maintain our usmle and plab pass rates high for our students. This project is conducted at the guyana basic science in georgetown in the third, fourth, and fifth semester. Students for the usmle are can also participate in our residency preparation sessions in the usa.
